(a) Narasinh Varman-I — Ratha Temples at Mahabalipuram was constructed under the patronage of Narasimhavarman I (630-668 CE). There 'Ratha' temples of Mahabalipuram are commonly called the Pancha Pandava Ratha. These temples are pioneer of the Dravidian Monolith era. There are actually eight Raths at Mahabalipuram act of which five are named after five Pandavas of Mahabalipuram and one after Draupadi.
