(b) Suryasen — Surya Sen was the most active member in the Chittagong Armoury Raid (1930). Chittgaon Revolt was an attempt by armed Indian Independence fighters led by Surya Sen on 18 April 1930 to raid Chittagaon armoury of police and auxiliary forces in the Bengal Presidency of British India. They were inspired by the 1916 Easter Rising in Ireland. Surya Sen was hanged by 12th the British on January 1934 in Chittagong Jail.
